The property stands in 10,000 square metres of mostly parkland, with a smaller wooded area which is currently being tamed.
Pride of place in the gardens is afforded to a venerable 300-year old Plane tree, from which the property gets its name. Whilst a magnificent sight itself, it also provides welcome shade in long summer months.
There is a large pool with an adjoining, rustic summer kitchen. The facility has proven a hit with guests and has a gas hob, oven, a sink and fridge. One of our guests managed to cook up a magnificent paella there, so we can say it has been thoroughly road-tested.
There is a boules court, under the shade of mature oak trees, which has been well-used and much appreciated.
